Care Guide
Following these simple rules will help your clothes look their best for years to come.
Washing Smarter
- Wash Less, Wear More: Air garments out between wears. Only wash when truly dirty.
- Wash Cold & Gentle: Use cold water (30o C maximum) and the gentle cycle to save energy and prevent fading/shrinkage.
- Prep Your Clothes: Turn inside out (especially darks and prints) and close all zippers and buttons to prevent snags.
- Use Gentle Detergent: Opt for eco-friendly formulas. Skip the fabric softener and harsh bleach.
Drying & Maintenance
- Air Dry Everything: Tumble dryers cause shrinkage and wear. Shake out clothes and hang or lay flat to dry.
- Know Your Hangers: Fold heavy sweaters and stretchy knits. Use sturdy (wood or padded) hangers for shirts and jackets.
- Spot Clean Immediately: Treat small stains right away with a little cold water and mild soap.
- Repair, Don’t Replace: A quick mend can save a garment. Fix loose buttons or small tears instead of tossing the item.
- Steam Over Iron: Use a steamer to gently remove wrinkles and freshen clothes. If you must iron, use the lowest heat setting.
